As recently announced, I’m pleased to announce the forthcoming release of my new book entitled Echoes of the Metal Mountain. Part 1. Available in both French and English.

Why ‘Part 1’? Because there will be a second part, of course! In fact, the story I originally wrote evolved in such a way that I preferred to split it into two parts.

Synopsis:

From time immemorial, peoples and communities have created legends and stories, sometimes extraordinary, sometimes magnifying reality. The nomads who roamed the great western continent were no exception. Contrary to the consensus among historians and scientists that man has never flown through the air or left the ground, which is considered impossible, these tribes describe these events with astonishing accuracy.

While one traveller sets out to explore this vast continent, driven by curiosity and a desire to learn about his own and the world’s history, others are on the verge of breaking through the Earth’s atmosphere on a mission to save their distant nation. One has lived through a forgotten era, the others come from an imaginary world as far as human knowledge is concerned.

Against a backdrop of unlikely encounters, legends collide with authoritative historical reality. And what if, behind these stories handed down from generation to generation, there is an unsuspected truth?

In this story, I wanted to bring back the protagonist of my previous novel to explore another continent against the backdrop of a memoir. This first part is about the journey and the discovery for some, and the rediscovery for others.

This novel of about 200 pages and 56k words will be released on April 30th on all my distribution channels. You can pre-order it now. The book is available in ePub format without DRM under a CC BY-SA-NC 4.0 licence. It is also available as a preview on Neovel where I am posting a new chapter every day.

Comme récemment annoncé, je suis content de vous partager la sortie prochaine de mon nouvel ouvrage intitulé Les murmures de la montagne de métal. Partie 1. Disponible à la fois en français et traduit en anglais.

Pourquoi “Partie 1” ? Parce qu’il y aura une deuxième, évidemment ! En effet, l’histoire initialement écrite s’est finalement développée d’une manière où j’ai préféré la séparer en deux.

Synopsis :

De tout temps, les peuples et les communautés ont forgé des légendes et des récits, parfois extraordinaires ou magnifiant la réalité. Les nomades errant sur le grand continent occidental n’ont pas fait exception. Contrairement aux consensus des historiens et des scientifiques affirmant que l’humanité n’a jamais volé dans les airs ou quitté la Terre, jugé irréalisable, ces tribus décrivent ces événements avec une précision déconcertante.

Alors qu’un voyageur entreprend de découvrir ce vaste continent, guidé par la curiosité et le désir de connaître sa propre histoire et celle du monde, d’autres sont sur le point de percer l’atmosphère terrestre dans une mission salvatrice pour leur lointaine nation. L’un ayant vécu une ère oubliée, les autres provenant d’un monde imaginaire aux yeux des connaissances humaines.

Sur fond de rencontres improbables, les légendes viennent heurter la réalité historique faisant autorité. Et si, derrière ces contes transmis de génération en génération, se cachait une vérité insoupçonnée ?

Dans cette histoire, j’ai voulu ramener le protagoniste de mon précédent roman pour lui faire explorer un autre continent sur fond de parcours mémoriel. Cette première partie se concentre sur le voyage et la découverte pour certains, et la redécouverte pour d’autres.

Ce roman d’environ 200 pages pour 56k mots sortira le 30 avril sur tous mes canaux de diffusion. Vous pouvez d’ores et déjà le précommander.
